When building the floor, Hugh and Ana constructed the grooved edges so that the sheets of plywood fit together. Then we glued on polystyrene blocks on the back, which is visible in the slide show photos above. The plywood sheets are first glued and then screwed together.Margo has been filling in all the screws with wood putty, and we’ll do the same to the seams when the floor is complete. Then -- sand, polyurethane, sand, and polyurethane again for a beautiful, flexible floor.
